Use Zerust AxxaWash™ NW-10C to remove metalworking soils, and organic or inorganic contaminants on ferrous metals. Wash surfaces to reduce corrosion incidents and enhace the effectiveness of subsequent corrosion inhibitor coatings or VCI packaging materials.

 

AxxaWash NW-10C is a mildly alkaline, low foaming, aqueous-based cleaning agent that can be used in immersion, ultrasonic, and low to ultra-high pressure (UHP) spray cleaning modes. In addition to effective hydrocarbon soil removal, AxxaWash NW-10C deactivates common corrosion causing anionic contaminants such as chlorides and sulfates left by metalworking fluids. Cleaning metals results in prolonged periods of flash corrosion inhibition. The product is conveniently offered as a liquid concentrate and may be diluted per the application.

 

Use a solution of AxxaWash NW10-C to clean highly reactive ferrous metals such as cast iron exposed to inorganic salts and other contaminants. Cleaning enhances the effectiveness of corrosion inhibitor products such as Zerust Axxatec^™ and Axxanol^™ coatings or VCI packaging materials. Depending on mode of use and concentration, AxxaWash NW-10 is highly effective at emulsifying most levels of hydrocarbon soil contaminants. Dry metals thoroughly before placing into packaging.
